It is Winter in Ukraine - Help us Warm Feet (and Hearts)

It is a very cold winter in Ukraine. Ukrainian winters, even without war, are extremely cold! Russia has been targeting civilians and non-war infrastructure like power plants to make life for the civilian population as difficult as possible. Much of Ukraine's electrical infrastructure has been damaged, leading to blackouts. No electricity, no lights, no water, no heat. Many in Ukraine have lost EVERYTHING and need essentials. Global Humanitarian Assistance is shipping coats, socks, thermal underwear, blankets, and other items to support Ukrainians who are displaced refugees of war. Many in eastern Ukraine have literally lost everything, or at best, they fled their homes with only what they could fit into a suitcase 9 MONTHS AGO. Socks are wearing out. People are at risk of freezing to death this winter. We are a 501(c)(3) in the United States. Unlike other organizations, we also own a Ukrainian Charitable Foundation. We have personnel on the ground in Lviv, Kyiv, and central Ukraine who can ensure that aid gets to those hard-hit regions in the east and toward the south, towns that have recently been recaptured by the Ukrainians and which were hardest hit by the Russian advances earlier in the Summer and Fall.
